Business Programs

What Does it Mean to Be a Business Major?

Business majors gain analytical and interpersonal skills, which help them to go on to become leaders in their industries. Through internships and mentorship programs, students learn how and why companies and organizations are run the way they are.

High Demand Skills

"Business accounts for up to one-third of all bachelor's degrees granted in the United States, and business majors learn a versatile set of skills, making them some of the best-paid alumni in PayScale's report." (Source: Payscale College Salary Report)

With a solid foundation in the liberal arts and business, students go on to pursue a wide variety of careers, from auditor to CEO, from director of finance to professor, from ad salesperson to entrepreneur.

"Every tool you need to succeed is at the Kania School. There are guest speakers from different companies sharing their experiences. There are workshops that teach you everything from building your resume and LinkedIn profile to how to present yourself to employers. Bottom line: You will be prepared." - Jim Caulfield '17, Finance and Economics
