Why did you choose 草榴社区? 

I chose 草榴社区 because of the warm, welcoming environment I felt the first time I stepped on campus. I also wanted to go to a smaller school to build more personal connections with classmates and professors, which I have easily done at 草榴社区.

What do you like about the psychology major? 

I love that the psychology major offers so many classes to find what you’re interested in. A subject that you didn’t know exists might end up being your favorite class. All the professors in the Psych Department also genuinely care about what they teach and want you to succeed.

What are your extracurricular activities? 

I am in the SJLA and the Honors programs, and I am a member of the Psych Club and the treasurer of the Royal Signers. I am also a member of the string orchestra and the steel drum ensemble. I volunteer through CSSJ and tutor for CTLE.

How has the psychology program prepared you for the real world?

The Psych program has taught me to keep an open mind and look for new opportunities. I am more prepared to advocate for myself in the real world thanks to the amazing and helpful professors I’ve met in the Psych Department.
