草榴社区

Public Relations Student Society of America

The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is an organization for students interested in public relations and communications.

The 草榴社区 chapter provides services to its members such as enhancing their education outside of the classroom, providing hands-on experience, broadening their professional network and helping to launch careers after graduation.

  • Enhancing education: PRSSA provides resources to enhance yourself and your communication skills through workshops and events. Past workshops have included resume building, creating and enhancing LinkedIn accounts, creating online portfolios, networking and head shots.
  • Hands-on experience: Our chapter often uses the spring semester to participate in public relations competitions against other schools in the nation. During these competitions, students gain an understanding of the planning, marketing, social media and logistics behind a successful campaign.
  • Broadening professional network: PRSSA provides opportunities to meet public relations students from surrounding local schools and professionals within and outside of the 草榴社区 campus.
  • Launching your career: The skills that our chapter helps students to build aid in communicating with professionals for both internships and future careers. Our chapter fosters skills that students can use for networking both on and off campus and gain both internships and post-graduate jobs.

Our goal is to help members stand out among other communication students through workshops that focus on strengthening networking skills, creating elaborate portfolios, and first-hand experience creating and maintaining a relationship between businesses and 草榴社区 students through competitions. We foster skills that students can use for networking at career fairs on campus and to gain both internships and post-graduate jobs.

Joining the 草榴社区 chapter of PRSSA is a great way to make friends and connect with students and professionals in your particular field of interest. Your classmates today will be your colleagues in the future!
