  • TEP- Tuition Exchange Program. Dependents from participating TEP participating Colleges and Universities are eligible to apply for consideration in this program.

Application Requirements

Application requirements vary slightly, so potential candidates should confirm the specific requirements at the certifying college or university. Requirements for the 草榴社区 are as follows:

  • Receipt of eligibility from the candidates' home institutions' tuition exchange liaison by December 1 prior to the next academic year
  • Completed application for admission for full time study to The 草榴社区 Office of Admission by November 15 prior to the next academic year
  • Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by February 1 prior to the next academic year

Selection Policy and Procedures

Selection of tuition exchange recipients is not automatic. The selection is competitive and is conducted by the 草榴社区 Tuition Exchange Committee as follows:

  • The deadline is November 15 for applications to be received by the 草榴社区 Office of Admission.
  • Committee will generally meet in late January to review how many openings are expected to exist for the next academic year
  • First consideration for any expected openings will be given to continuing students in good academic and social standing who have been certified by their home institution, but not previously awarded a tuition exchange award
  • All new accepted applicants who have been certified by their home institution will be considered for expected openings that exist after continuing students have been reviewed
  • Applicants' academic achievements and potential, extracurricular activities and how they may enhance the 草榴社区 community will be considered by the committee
  • Notifications will be mailed to each applicant informing them of the committee's decision
  • Accepted candidates must submit their acceptance deposit by May 1
  • After May 1 the committee will determine if any additional offers can be made and will notify any selected candidates
  • The decision of the selection committee is final and no additional input from officials at the 草榴社区 or the home institution will be considered in the selection process.

Awarding Policy and Procedures

The awarding policy and procedures for tuition exchange awardees mirrors the general policy and procedures of our own dependent tuition program with some exceptions. A review is as follows:

  • Tuition Exchange scholarship is provided for a maximum of eight semesters of undergraduate education
  • Tuition Exchange scholarship is offered for fall and spring semesters up to the flat rate of tuition
  • Students must remain living in campus housing unless admitted and enrolled as a commuter (Effective for new recipients starting in fall 2023)
  • Students must be enrolled as full time students beginning the fall term after the award is made
  • Scholarships are only for remission of 草榴社区 courses and cannot be used for any study abroad or domestic exchange programs. Students participating in any non approved coursework will be eligible for consideration of University merit and need-based assistance in accordance with our general policy
  • Scholarships will continue for each year of eligibility provided the awardee's home institution continues to certify eligibility for participation in the tuition exchange program
  • If, for any reason, the student no longer qualifies for tuition exchange, they will be given consideration for University merit and need-based assistance in accordance with general policy
  • All previously awarded 草榴社区 scholarships and grants will be canceled upon receipt of the tuition exchange benefit and no future institutional controlled financial assistance will be awarded for any semester that is covered by tuition exchange
  • A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which covers both state and federal aid, must be filed each year prior to May 1 for the subsequent academic year. The FAFSA can be completed online at .  The tuition exchange scholarship will not be paid to a student’s account until all required financial aid forms and applications are officially filed. If all applicable financial aid forms are not completed in a timely manner, the actual amount of state and/or federal grants that the student would have been eligible for will be deducted from the University’s tuition exchange scholarship. As a result, the student or parent will be responsible for paying the portion of the financial aid package that was forfeited.
  • The amount is the difference between the full tuition cost and the financial aid secured, except that, when combined, the total value will be extended to cover the cost of books and academic fees. The maximum allowance for books and academic fees is $250 per semester.  Bookstore charge forms up to this amount will be issued by the Treasurer’s Office. Requests for authorization above $250 will be handled on a case-by-case basis by the Bursar.

FACHEX (Faculty, Administrator, and Staff Children Exchange Program)

FACHEX (Faculty, Administrator, and Staff Children Exchange Program) is an undergraduate tuition exchange program sponsored by the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities . Dependents of 草榴社区 full-time faculty and staff (full-time staff who have four, full years of service at the beginning of the academic year for which they are applying) are eligible to apply for FACHEX scholarships to the participating Jesuit institutions according to the policies governing tuition remission benefits. Normally, FACHEX scholarships cover full tuition for up to eight semesters. FACHEX does not cover room and board or other fees and expenses. Since the program is competitive and the number of awards offered by participating institutions is limited, applicants are not guaranteed a scholarship at any institution.

Application Requirements

  • Submit a complete application for admission to a participating institution by their appropriate date.
  •  of intent for FACHEX to the Office of Financial Aid, Jonathan Kirby, FACHEX Coordinator. The FACHEX Coordinator will notify the participating institution of your interest in a scholarship.  FACHEX application deadlines are different at all participating institutions.
